Stephen has been making music since his early teens, learning the songs of idols that range from Neil Young to Lucinda Williams to Townes Van Zandt, and reimagining anything from CCR to Frank Sinatra. Covers become something new as he performs them with his rich baritone, and versatility on electric and acoustic guitar, playing harmonica with a natural sensitivity to pace and presence. 

He has always been a facilitator of music, hosting weekly jams and supporting emerging musicians, and in the past few years has evolved his reputation as a performer from being a house concert favourite to becoming an in-demand musician at regional events and concert series.

He released his first EP, Stories From A Small City, in 2021.
